:xianpitt: Christian Pitt
Christian Pitt was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She spent her youth as a plant for a magician, a child laborer in the restaurant business, and a Catholic school girl. She attended the Kansas City Art Institute and the College of Santa Fe, and graduated from Oklahoma University with a BFA. She is currently living in Norman, Oklahoma where she was curatorial manager of MAINSITE Contemporary Art from 2002 to 2011, and is current President of the Board of the Norman Arts Council. Pitt's cinematic and photographic work deals with the sinister and isolating ideas of disguised humans as creatures in the natural world.
I am a purveyor of magical moments.
I use a digital canon slr and a little photoshop for a fancy touch, but all of the situations are real and created for the end result of the photograph.
